My first bestie card as DT-member for Sherri Baldy Art.

If Friends were Flowers ...

Happy Sunday everyone,

JAN here again today with another 'Bestie' make for our collection.

This time I have made a home decor item - a wall hanging plaque

using the gorgeous 'Positively Penelope' image

which you can buy in Sherri's on-line store HERE.

I used lots of papers and embellishments from my stash, 

stamped out the wording before tearing and inking the edges

and coloured 'Penelope' with my Promarkers

before cutting her out and adding her to the project.

All the flowers were stamped and hand cut before adding them to the design.

I am also entering this into the current 'Besties Challenge' which is

'FLORAL FRENZY'

Another card from me today, ive used creata backing paper, mirror card, brads and grass die.
The embossed background is a folder from sheena douglass and the embossed cut strawberry is spellbinders.

This week i have been making Christmas samples and i wanted to share this one with you as i have used non traditional colours xxx i picked the backing paper first and then chose the colours from there xx

My Notebook

Good morning to you all,

JAN 

here again today with a little project using

one of Sherri's brand new designs, 

so new in fact, she doesn't even have a name yet!

I am always making notes for this and that when I'm on the internet,

so I thought it would be fun to cover one of my notebooks.

Here's what I made ...

I have used image 906 which you can buy from Sherri's ETSY store HERE.

I coloured her with my trusty Promarkers to match the backing paper -

I love the pastel sugared almond colours.

The lettering is cut using my Sizzix machine and 

all the embellishments are hand made.

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE

GOod morning

Today i am featuring the digi of me again, but i have taken the outline digi and coloured her in PSP also using patterning for leopard print as an imported material, as i adore leopard print so what better way to show off the digi but to make her more like me.

Also used are creata metallic card stock, mirror card, backing papers, silky card stock and flourish die.
The large die in the centre is a spellbinder.

I have been a busy bee this week with lots of end of the year school events and also DT work for both Sherri and Carley Duff for my post this week i am sharing a card that i had made for this weeks Creata show yesterday on Create&Craft.

I chose to use Tapping Tillie from the Bestie Dancers range from Sherri'e Etsy store you buy her Here

I cannot take the credit for the beautiful colouring this is actually a pre-coloured Digi by Sherri i love the softness of the colours xx

I have chosen Creata papers to co-ordinate with the Digi colours.

Black , White and one other colour

Today is my day to show case a Bestie digi so with my chosen Digi i have also decided to follow this weeks challenge again .Black white and one other colour . So i have chosen Purple .

I have used my pro markers to colour my image , Purple , Black , Warm grey and cool grey ... A little pear green on the leaves.

The flowers are made from white Mirror card which i have sanded back to reveal a silver Core .

Meet Cherry Blossom

Well hello everyone,

My name is JAN and I live in the UK

My first card showcases the gorgeous 'Cherry Blossom Geisha' 

which is one of my all time favourites of Sherri's designs.

Christmas Flourishes

Good morning dear friends . Just a short post from me today .
Here is a card i have created using a sherri baldy Christmas digi image 833 and can be found HERE .

I have used all creata products to create my card apart from the wording and a few bits of card candy for the centre of the flowers .

I have coloured the digi  in using my pro markers in traditional Christmas colours

The flowers were created from a set of joys dies along with the leaves .
