Welcome to Troll-ville

Hey everyone!  Trolls have been running around and getting
into all sorts of mischief.  These little cuties are just waiting
to come and join you in all your crafting ideas.

Today I would like to share with you a mini album
that has been created around these little sweeties
by using the Troll Mega Kit that is available

I have used elements from the Kit to make all the embellies
throughout.   I have used the mushroom and frames along with papers
to decorate the front.

I took the mushroom and made some shrinkydink charms to adorn
the closure for this album

I also colored another troll image and made a charm with her as well.
The image I used is scan0042

On the inside I have used various papers and other elements
to create pockets and tag holders

For this one, I used a flower to hold a tag I made from another
paper included in the Kit.

I used a flower element and bracket elements to hold small tags or
photo mats.

Here I cut one of the tags in half to create a pocket to hold
a mushroom I am using as a tag.

Here are some other pages and just how I decorated them.

Here is a small preview of what all is in the Kit.

Come and check out all the wonderful creations that are
being made with all of the Trolls over on
on facebook.  We would love to see all your Besties creations.

Twinkle Toes Mini Album:Tutorial with Andrea

Hello Besties!  Today Andrea has a cute little mini album
using the NEW Twinkle Toes Trolls Mega Kit.

This mega kit is jam packed with all sorts of goodies
to make cards, albums, flipbooks and so much more.

Andrea has been so kind to give a small tutorial
on how she did this little gem

Small Mini Album with 3 Pockets:   3" x  3" when finished:
A heavy Cardstock, colour of your choice measuring  81/2" x 11".
You will need a Score Board:  Ruler and a Scorer will do if you don't have a Score Board.
Place your card stock on the Score Board with the 81/2" at the top and the 11" running down the side of your board.
Score down at 27/8" and again at 53/4"
Turn your cardstock around so the 11" side  is running along the top and 81/2" is along the side of your board.
Score down at 27/8", 3" first set of lines, 57/8", 61/8 second set of lines, 9", 91/4" third set of lines.
Now take your scissors and cut out between the small score lines up to the long score line now turn your cardstock around and do the same on the other side cutting out between the small score lines up to the long score line.  You now have 8 small cut outs made, this is for folding up your album.
We are now going to cut off the 2 small outside squares, on the  81/2" side of your cardstock, you will see that one end of the 8/12" side has 3 shorter squares than the other end, cutoff the 2 outside squares on the shorter end leaving  the middle square, this is the top flap of your album - now cut this square in half and use a fancy punch to give you a nice fancy edge.  Giving you a nice fancy front flap.
Just a little more cutting to finish your album.  Set your cardstock down with the fancy flap at the top, you now have 3 rows of small scored square down your cardstock, starting with the top 3 squares cut off half of the left hand side square, middle row change to the right side cut off half of this square, bottom row cut off half of the left hand square.
We are now going to make the 3 small pocket which you can put small tags into.
You can punch small half circles into the 3 half squares if you want to show that these are your pockets.
Now the fun part you decorate your album front and back small flaps as well with fancy paper sticker anything you like it's your album do what you like. Don't forget to make 3 tags for your pockets at this stage too.
Once finished decoration - glue down the 3 half squares to form the 3 pockets for your tags.
We are now going to fold up the album - starting from the bottom pop your tag into the pocket now fold over the right flap, do this all the way up to the top flap, now starting from the bottom fold up the bottom part fold up again and then fold down the top fancy half flap.  Your small mini album is finished.
I tied a ribbon around the folded down fancy top flap to hold down this flap at the front plus I glue on a paper flower to make it more fancy.

Thank you Andrea for sharing this with us!

Tri Window With Andrea

Hello Besties!  Today we have Andrea with this amazing
Tri Window Card that she has made with her Silhouette Cameo.

She has even given you a tutorial on how to make this.

Card Base:
Plain Coloured Card Stock - 12" x 12"
Open your Silhouette Cameo Software.  Make your work space 12" x 12"
Using your Square Tool (left side task bar) draw a 12" x  8" rectangle.
Now using the Line Tool (left side task Bar) draw a line  2" down from the top across the page from 2" mark across to 10" mark.  Do this again at the bottom of the plain cardstock.
Place your Plain Cardstock on your sticky plastic cutting sheet and cut your Card Base.
Remove the Card Base from your cutting sheet.
Fancy Card Stock for Panels :
On the Software page slide the Card Base to the side.  We are going to make the panels to go on the Card Base.
With the Square Tool draw 2 panels 7 1/2" x 1 1/2" down your page side by side ( I just draw one and right click your mouse on the panel and click duplicate) you have your 2 panels. Making the panels these size give you a nice plain cardstock boarder around your card.
Continue - 2 panels 3 1/2" x  1 1/2"  - 4 panels  1 1/2" x 1 1/2" - 1 panel  6" x 1 1/2"
This is all the Fancy Cardstock/paper panels you need. Place your fancy paper on your cutting sheet and cut out.
Cut your window panel - mine measured  6 1/2" x 3 1/2" - I purchased the Window cut image from the Silhouette Shop.  If you have one you can cut out with your cutting machine go for it.

This is all the cutting you need to do on your Silhouette Cameo

Score Board or Ruler and Score Tool:
Score Base Card:
Place the 12" side of your Plain Cardstock (Card Base) at the top of your Score Board and against left side.
Score,  starting  your first score line at the 2" top cutline  to the second cutline at bottom.
Second score line - at 4" score down to cutline at top and again at the bottom 4" up to the bottom cutline.
Third score line at 8" score from top to bottom through cutline's.
Fourth Score line at 10" score from top to bottom.

Fancy Cardstock/Paper Placement:
One of the 7 1/2" x 1 1/2" cut pieces attach from top to bottom on left hand side of card base.
One of the 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" cut pieces attach at top beside your first  panel and then the second 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" piece at the bottom next to the first piece.
Next going across the top from left to right attach one of the 3 1/2" by 1 1/1/2" and the second piece attach the same way across left to right at bottom.
The third and forth 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" pieces are attached next one at top and one at bottom of the card base.
And last your second piece 7 1/2" x 1 1/2" attach from top to bottom.
With your 4" x 4" centre square you can put a panel with the same fancy paper or just place your coloured image without the panel.

Fold your Card:
Please study the picture of the Card for the folding.

Playing in My Planner: Stamp Sets

Hey Besties!!!  Today I am sharing with you what I have done
with my My Besties Stamp Sets.
These stamp sets have some pretty cute images and sentiments
that can be used in many different ways.

I have decided to deck out my planner.

I use sticker sheets to stamp my images.  Love that you just peel and stick
with the adhesive already on the back and ready to go.

Also you can stamp on regular cardstock and make paperclip toppers

I love these flowers and all the colors you can make them.
I also used my glittler gel pens to color in the dots.

Here are the stamp sets that I have used.
The possibilites are endless with all the goodies and sentiments.

You can find them HERE

Garden Dreams Pink Bees 3D

Hello Besties!   Today I would like to share with
you some easy cards with a 3D effect.

I am using the NEW Garden Dreams Pink Bees Downloadable
Paper Pack.  You can find it HERE

You can add flare with just popping up various elements on the papers.

Here I have just printed a second sheet of the same paper and cut
out the flowers to add on top.

For the second card I printed out one sheet and cut the element out
and placed on a coordinating sheet in the pack.

I also took the edge with the lace trim and cut out to add
another small detail to the card.

Add a sentiment or some other embellishments and have fun.
